With the introduction of our Golden Bear Industries Sustainable Acceleration Sites (SAS; locations that manufacture various sustainable paper packaging like void fill, paper mailers, box partitions, and kraft bags alike), we have begun operating the transition from single-use packaging plastics to a circular economy business model with the foundations of lasting sustainability.

Our resident TRUE Zero Waste Advisor helps our customer’s facilities become TRUE Zero Waste certified. GBCI (Green Business Certification Inc) joined forces with the U.S. Zero Waste Business Council in 2016 to advance zero waste business practices. TRUE, formerly known as Zero Waste certification, creates a solid foundation that advances the integrity and credibility of zero waste globally. The TRUE program helps us drive green business practices across all of our business sectors.

Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE)

This certification is awarded by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), a global organization that independently verifies and certifies sustainable practices in the built environment, including TRUE Zero Waste certification.

TRUE certified spaces are environmentally responsible, more resource efficient, and help turn waste into savings and additional income streams.

By closing the loop, these spaces cut greenhouse gasses, manage risk, reduce litter and pollution, reinvest resources locally, create jobs and add more value for their company and community.

Our Sustainability Services provide customers with the opportunity to ensure all waste diversion programs and cost reductions are optimized at the site level.
